![]() | Ann and I would like to express our appreciation and thanks for assigning David as our tour guide. We were so impressed with David’s overall professionalism, and his historical knowledge of your beautiful country. David is the type of person whom once you meet him, you feel like you have known him all of your life. His driving skills allowed us to relax and just enjoy the scenery. He took us places that would not have been possible had we taken a “canned” packaged bus tour. We consider ourselves most fortunate to have chosen Adams & Butler and in particular to have had David as our tour guide. He is a true ambassador of your company. David made our tour of Ireland an excursion! Sincerely, Jean ![]() Date of Posting: 13 December 2010 Posted By: Jean |
![]() | I am finally home after the long but wonderful trip - relaxing, resting and recovering from eating too much good food, and now listening to Liam Clancy and other Irish music, feeling nostalgic for Ireland.Juling, Shuimeng and Jennifer join me in thanking you for organizing an amazing tour for us, in particular for finding us a superb driver guide in Jim Wheelan. He is absolutely fantastic. He is the best ambassador for Ireland there is. He showed us Ireland through the eyes of an Irish who loves Ireland as it is. We were shown the Irish love for life including of course food, music, the ordinary things of life, and Irish friendliness, helpfulness, and hospitality. He treated us very well. He, in fact, took us as guests to his mother-in-law's cooking school for lunch which we thorougly enjoyed - the atmosphere of foodies. In short, he made us fall in love with Ireland. Actually, when we were in London, more than once, one of us would say, "I was thinking of Jim - missed him." The best compliment we can pay him. The Literary Pub Crawl was very enjoyable - well organized, alot of fun, got a taste of Irish literary flare. Thank you for suggesting and organizing it. Good. Hammy in Belfast was good - he is a Northern Irish and acted more like a Brits - more formal, but still friendly and helpful. (Don't tell him that.) We enjoyed him too. He had a beautiful car. Also, in the itinerary there was no provision for touring Belfast, but we wanted to see Belfast, the city (In fact, that was the reason for going to Belfast, less interested in things around.). So Hammy took us around to the murals, the Wall etc. and we happily trade Belfast for a couple of the castles/ mansions. Belfast is very interesting - now have a better understanding of the situation there. The Kensington Hotel in London was great - a good hotel with a fantastically convenient location. Thank you. Will stay there again. On Restaurants, one vital element of our trip, the part that one cannot enjoy watching a travel programme on Ireland - one has to be there to taste it. For your information and future reference, I am listing here restaurants that we particularly enjoyed though almost all the restaurants were good: Chapter One in Dublin Max in Kinsale Fishy Fishy in Kinsale The Half Door in Dingle One final point on restaurants in London. Actually all the restaurants we asked you to book for us were good. Hibiscus was exceptional - food was excellent, service was great and the ambience elegant. What more can one ask for. Thank you John for making the various reservations for us. Finally, we want to thank both of you again for your efforts and help in making our trip a very enjoyable and memorable one. 謝謝! May we wish you all the best and take care, Betty ![]() Date of Posting: 13 December 2010 Posted By: Betty |
![]() | I got a call from my 4 ladies in Ireland. I HATE to get calls when my clients are still traveling. It usually means something not so good.......WRONG. They called to tell me how much they love their driver. How good he is....what extra nice things he has done! Thought you'd want to know......Thanks for making that so special! ![]() Date of Posting: 13 December 2010 Posted By: Pamela Scott Foothill Enterprises |

![]() | Greetings:On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone at Adams & Butler for the spectacular holiday we enjoyed in London, Scotland and Ireland 9 July 2010 through 18 July 2010! David (London) and Craig (Scotland) were fantastic guides. We all had such a wonderful time. Of particular note, the stay at Ashford Castle was the perfect way to complete the trip. What a magnificent property! We could not have asked for anything better. Your kindness with the hotel upgrade to The Dylan in Dublin was also especially appreciated. That, too, is a marvelous property. Thanks again for the hard work and excellent hospitality. Sincere Regards, Mike ![]() Date of Posting: 13 December 2010 Posted By: Mike DiChiara |
