John Erne, 7th Earl of Erne, inherited the title from his late father and resides at his beautiful ancestral home, Crom Castle in County Fermanagh. Crom Castle sits in 2000 acres of stunning National Trust parkland over-looking Lough Erne and will be your home for your entire stay.
The Earl will personally host your stay and will entertain you for all your meals including a gala dinner in the state dining room and an Irish evening. You will spend time with him as he takes you around his magnificent home and gives you the history talk as well as a guided tour of the stunning parkland and buildings on the estate. You will also experience a boat trip on Lough Erne where you will view Crom from the water.
With the Earl, you will visit other stately homes nearby such as Florence Court and Castlecoole as well as other attractions like Beleek Pottery, Devenish Island and the Island town of Enniskillen. The Earl will take you to see his cousins, Lord and Lady Hamilton nearby to view their wonderful gardens.
There will be plenty of down time to relax at the castle and walk in the private family gardens. You will always be looked after with staff on hand to help you.
