In Residence with the 7th Earl of Erne

at his home, Crom Castle.

OVERVIEW

A new and exclusive experience has just been launched at Crom Castle, Co. Fermanagh. John Crichton, the 7th Earl of Erne and Baron of Fermanagh, is offering his home at the family's ancestral seat to guests wishing to spend a vacation with him as their personal host.

Please note that this is an exclusive and discreet experience for Adams & Butler clients and is not available elsewhere.

Each day at Crom Castle will be different, your stay is carefully planned with your group choosing from an exclusive list of potential activities.

Among other excursions during your stay, The Earl may very well take you to tea with his cousins who have a particularly beautiful garden nearby. A private visit to Castle Coole, including a tour of this exceptional Georgian House by the current Earl of Belmore himself is also on the agenda. A trip to the market town of Enniskillen is usually a guest favourite. Here, you will visit Blake’s Bar, one of the oldest pubs in Ireland where you can have a proper pint of Guinness followed by a delicious lunch downstairs. Florence Court House, another beautiful historical building connected with The Earls of Erne, is also on the agenda for a visit. Other suggestions could be a trip to the famous Belleek Pottery factory or to play a few rounds of golf at the five-star Lough Erne Golf Resort. You may also wish to avail of the facilities at Colebrooke Spa.

Enjoy a guided walk of the vast Crom Estate or perhaps a boat ride on Lough Erne where you will see the estate and buildings from the water. A guided tour of the castle interior will also be offered by The Earl.

There will of course be wonderful downtime at Crom Castle during your stay when you can simply experience the comfort and hospitality of the home. Check your emails, read a book or peruse the daily ‘papers in the library. If all of some of the party don’t want to undertake a particular excursion, The Earl is very open to guests relaxing at the property during their stay.
