Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Sydney (4 Nights)
Check into your hotel of choice which all offer their own fantastic views of Sydney & explore the city as you begin your journey. 

Day 2 –Early Morning Bridge Climb, Sea Sydney Cruises 
With your Climb Leader as your guide, step by step you’ll ascend the arches of the Bridge and enjoy the iconic views of Sydney, situated in one of the most beautiful harbours on earth. Throughout your Climb, your Climb Leader will entertain you with stories about the history of the Bridge. After your climb take a trip relax and enjoy a cruise through Sydney. 

Day 3 – Sydney Bonza Bike Tours guided bike tour of the city. travelling on carefully planned routes through the city, which will take you through parks, harbour fronts and sidewalks. Join your guide and other travellers from around the world for an experience to remember forever. After take a trip to the beach to experience Sydney’s famous beach culture. 

Day 4 – Morning the rocks walking tour
On your final day in Sydney get up close and personal with the living history and heritage of Sydney than on foot with Sydney's foremost team of friendly and enthusiastic guides at The Rocks Walking Tours. 

Day 5 – Fly Sydney to Melbourne and collect rental car (2 nights)
On arrival to Melbourne pick up your rental car and check in to your chosen Hotel.

Day 6 – Melbourne – Day at leisure to explore the city
Have a free day explore or to unwind, relax and fine dine in beautiful Melbourne.
 
Day 7 - Travel Melbourne to Great Ocean Road (1 night)
Travel along the Great Ocean Road with its rugged coastline, the famous Twelve Apostles, and through lush forests. The soaring mountains of the Grampians National Park have been the spiritual home of the Aboriginal people for tens of thousands of years.

Day 8 – Travel Apollo Bay to The Grampions (Halls Gap) 1 night
Stop in to the beautiful village of Apollo Bay located at the foothills of the Otway’s. Drive one of the world's most iconic scenic touring routes to the Grampions. 

Day 9 - The Grampions to Ballarat
Travel back east to Ballarat, a city located on the Yarrowee River and lower western plains of the Great Dividing Range in the state of Victoria, Ballarat has enjoyed a rich and prosperous heritage thanks to the Gold Rush which ensures which means you can both relax on your arrival or explore the city. 

Day 10 – Ballart to Melbourne and connect with flight to Adelaide

Day 11 – Depart on a 3 day Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safari “Sea Lion & Outback Experience”
Prepare for a trip you will never forget, the Gawler Ranges, 600kms to the North West of Adelaide on the Eyre Peninsula, is Outback Australia at its best. The diverse terrain changes from semi-desert too arid to eucalypt woodland, while the age old volcanic landscape is spectacular with its gorges and weathered rocky outcrops. 

Day 12 – On Safari
Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safaris offer an amazing diversity and profusion of wildlife in numbers rarely seen elsewhere in Australia. Guests stay at Kangaluna Camp, a boutique tented camp that caters for up to 12 guests in a resonantly Australian setting.

Day 13 – On Safari, returning to Adelaide in evening (1 night)

Day 14 – Fly Adelaide to Uluru and collect rental car. 
Check into your hotel in Uluru which is located in the Australian outback, a true sense of stillness and beauty in this desert landscape, rich in cultural heritage and history. 

Day 15 – Uluru – Full day touring with SEIT

Day 16 – Uluru to Kings Canyon (1 night)
Kings Canyon is part of the Watarrka National Park in Australia's Northern Territory, Climb to the top of the rim of Kings Canyon at sunrise or sunset. The challenging six kilometre Kings Canyon Rim Walk takes around 3-4 hours. There are spectacular views of the gorge below and of the surrounding landscape. Take a guided rim walk with an Aboriginal elder and learn about the significance of the area to its traditional owners.

Day 17 – Kings Canyon to Alice Spring (1 night)
Discover Alice Springs, one of Australia's most famous outback towns, surrounded by hundreds of kilometres of red desert & experience Aboriginal Australia. Discover the Red Centre from Alice Springs, a hub for Aboriginal art, pioneer history and quirky outback events like the Henley-on-Todd Regatta.

Day 18 – Fly Alice Springs to Cairns (3 Nights)
Today you will depart Alice Springs and fly to Cairns, considered the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, is a city in tropical North Queensland. Its Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park tells the stories of indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with music and dance so there’s a dreamy mix of tropical beauty & historic cultures to keep you entertained. 

Day 19 – Cairns – Full day excursion with quicksilver Cruises to the Great Barrier Reef
If you're seeking adventure and the thrill of scuba diving and snorkelling, custom-designed luxury catamarans Silversonic and Poseidon have unique roaming permits and will take you to experience three different reef environments in the pristine Agincourt ribbon reefs. A day aboard Silversonic or Poseidon is all about the adventure of diving and snorkelling in this magnificent marine wilderness. With special permits to swim with the dwarf minke whales, you could just be in for the adventure of a lifetime!


Day 20 - Cairns – Full Day Daintree Dreaming tour with Adventure North Australia
Daintree Dreaming day tour travels to Cooya Beach where you meet with the Kubirri Warra brothers who follow the traditions of their ancestors. Learn how to throw a spear and search and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels. Visit the Janbal Gallery Mossman to see authentic Aboriginal art and meet Binna, artist in residence, and travel to Niau Falls, a pristine natural wonder where you enjoy a guided rainforest walk.

Day 21 -  Depart Cairns and return home back to reality.

If it's spring in the northern hemisphere, it's autumn in Australia. The hottest months in Australia are therefore December, January and February. In these months, you might like to head south to escape the heat. The coldest months are June, July and August - a perfect time to explore up north.
