Coppershill House

Overview

Built in 1774, Coopershill has been the family home to 8 generations of the O'Hara's and is in immaculate condition. This country house is the perfect base for exploring the stunning North West of Ireland. Links golf, walking, W.B. Yeats country, megalithic tombs and much more is just a short drive away. The house is available all year for Private Parties, House Parties and Special Events such as Weddings and Civil Ceremonies. Coopershill is also open to overnight guests from 1st April to 31st October.

Location

The setting is magical. Coppershill is set in the beautiful countryside of Sligo, in the West of Ireland.  Nestled in the centre of a 500-acre private estate of mature hardwoods, deer pastures and their own river, privacy at this country house is total. Located just 2.3 km from Riverstown village and 15.8 km from the Eagles Flying birds of prey attraction.

Accommodation

Each of Coppershill’s eight bedrooms includes original antique furniture, large rooms and spectacular views of rolling Sligo countryside. Crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, large duvets, firm mattresses and electric blankets switched on during the evening turndown for the cosiest beds in Ireland. All bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers, hairdryers, Penhaligon toiletries, large fluffy towels, robes and slippers. There are no televisions or radios in rooms to complement the peace and tranquillity of the house and allow you to escape from the busy world.
