Overview

Hilton Park has been welcoming guests since it was built as a family home in 1734. Today the tradition of hospitality lives on with, luxury accommodation and authentic country house food, much of which is sourced from the estate. The house, once described as “a capsule of social history” is ideal for those seeking an alternative to a more uniform hotel experience.

Set among 600 acres of heritage woodlands, gardens and lakes. Available to individual guests and private parties and located just 90 minutes from Belfast and Dublin on the unspoilt Monaghan/Fermanagh border.

Accommodation

Known locally as the Castle, guests experience the exclusive nature of staying in a historic luxury country house and stately home. In such a peaceful and idyllic setting, the house is a sanctuary of laid back luxury where guests will sleep well, eat well and leave with a feeling of wellbeing. All six bedrooms are all individually decorated each with an en-suite bathroom, antique baths and stunning views of the estate and County Monaghan countryside. The principal bedrooms have four poster beds, vast eight-foot-long windows overlooking the lake and parkland.

  • There are three drawing rooms, all with burning log fires and decorated with original family memorabilia. There is an Erard Grand Piano for music enthusiasts.
  • Hilton Park has recently begun offering the newly renovated courtyard as a venue for weddings or other events.
  • There is an 18-hole golf course at Hilton, complimentary to all guests staying guests.
  • Activities include fishing, wild swimming, boating, biking & clay pigeon shooting.
