Co. Cavan, Ireland
Steeped in history the Virginia Park Lodge is the epitome of elegance, with a distinctly homely feel and luxury finishing touches. Taken over by Richard Corrigan the Virginia Park Lodge is a private estate accommodating large bookings, corporate events, house parties and weddings. Virginia Park Lodge was originally built as a hunting lodge for the first Earl of Bective, Thomas Taylour, Lord Headfort, one of Ireland’s richest men. The lodge was intended as a cottage-style home from home, informal in layout but still lavishly decorated with the finest silver, china, and furniture.
Virginia Park Lodge is a grand 18th Century country estate, by celebrity Chef Richard Corrigan, set in 150 acres of beautiful Cavan countryside overlooking Lough Ramor. Bordering six counties an hour west of Dublin & two hours’ south-west of Belfast, Cavan is a beautiful yet still unexplored part of Ireland.
