Queen's Platinum Jubilee, June 2022

In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when Her Majesty was 25 years old.
Take part in the festivities surrounding the Jubilee parade and if lucky maybe get a glimpse of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Visit iconic sites in London and famous homes and locations with great importance to the Queen.

Day 1

Welcome to London!

Welcome to London! You will be picked up at the airport where your private driver will take you to the Rubens At The Palace Hotel, this beautifully restored historic hotel is cared for by a team who take genuine pride in delivering impeccable service and exceeding expectations at every turn. Overlooking The Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, the entrance used by the Royal family – Make sure to practice your Royal Wave as you could spot some of the Royals pottering about – The Rubens showcases exceptional dining journeys, and enriching and rewarding experiences, from the very first moment guests are greeted by the red-uniformed doormen. As the room may not be ready on arrival, walk the short distance to the front of the Palace and try to catch the Change of the Guard (usually 10:45am, different times may apply due to the special celebrations). In the afternoon, explore the area with your local expert including Buckingham Palace Gardens, St James Park, St Paul’s Cathedral and more.

Day 2

Windsor Castle & Hampton Court

Today, you will visit the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world : the Windsor Castle. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle. Then, explore Hampton Court Palace, its outdoor spaces and its 60 acres of magnificent gardens.

Day 3

Queen's Jubilee Parade

Today is the day of the parade. Since your hotel is well located, you will have easy access to nice spots. Make sure to leave early since it is going to be crowded.


Day 4

Westminster Abbey, Tower of London & Thames Cruise,

The London tour will take you to the Westminster Abbey which has been the coronation church since 1066. It has also been the royal wedding place of Queen Elisabeth II and Prince Philip. After Westminster Abbey, you will be welcomed onboard the luxury Venetian tender Thames Limo to enjoy London from your private water limo. After the relaxing tour on the Tames, you will be making your way to the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels.

Day 5

Kensington Palace & Champagne Sabrage Experience

Your private guide will take you to Kensington Palace, birthplace of Queen Victoria and home to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Wander through the lavish rooms of the Queen’s and King’s State Apartments, each one grander than the last. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Why not shop at one of the most famous stores; Harrods…In the evening enjoy dinner at the Milestone Hotel and a champagne sabrage experience. (Dinner not included in the price only champagne sabrage)

Day 6

Big Jubilee Picnic

For your last day, and if the weather allows, The Ruben At The Palace will provide you a luxury picnic to take part of the Big Lunch Jubilee. It  will take place in one of London’s glorious parks. A pageant featuring over 5,000 people from across the United Kingdom will take place in London and will combine street arts, theatre, music, circus, carnival and costume and celebrate the service of Her Majesty’s reign.
