Property overview

Lisbellaw Castle is a fabulous historic castle nestled proudly on the Fermanagh Lakelands. Imagine centuries of lives lived long ago as you enter your grandly renovated accommodation. Lisbellaw Castle once played host to generations of nobles, and in the present day you and your group are invited to enjoy an exquisite mix of antique furnishings alongside contemporary fixtures and fittings.

Accommodation

The castle has 13 bedrooms sleeping up to 26 guests, each one completely different to the next with each room fitting the bill as would be expected in a luxurious castle. In the Abercorn Wing, select from luxurious Guest Rooms with bathroom suites as standard, offering private views across Lough Erne. Choose from the opulence of The Bridal Suite with a grand four poster bed and unparalleled views across Lough Erne. Each bedroom features an ensuite that is built for lavish indulgence, such as the Sweet Pea Room's deluxe roll-top bath. Simply fill up with bubbles and relax. Take time over choosing your favourite bedroom in the Hamilton Wing, each one individually decorated and beautifully different. Exposed oak beams and grand four-poster beds set the scene for endless, blissfully dreamy nights, complemented by individual flourishes of colour and comfort, and with fresh country views as far as the eye can see.

Location

Known as the Lakelands of Ireland, Fermanagh offers some of the finest fishing spots in the country, along with fabulous bird watching experiences and Ireland’s only island town to explore. On a clear day walk the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ boardwalk, which offers a stunning viewpoint of the liquid gem that is the Fermanagh Lakelands. This boardwalk is suitable for most fitness levels, but it does take about 3-4 hours to walk to the vantage point and back to the carpark.
