Awasi Patagonia is an ultra-luxury Relais & Châteaux lodge set within a private reserve with commanding views of the Torres del Paine mountain range and Lake Sarmiento, sheltered from the region’s powerful Patagonian winds by a dense native forest of lenga and ñirre trees. The property comprises 12 standalone wooden villas, each featuring a fireplace, outdoor hot tub, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows framing the surrounding wilderness. Each oval-shaped villa spans nearly 180 m² and is conceived as an intimate, fully private retreat. The lodge operates on a distinctly personalized model: every guest is assigned their own private guide and 4WD vehicle, enabling fully tailor-made excursions and flexible itineraries across the Patagonian landscape. The native fauna thrives undisturbed in the reserve, with frequent sightings of guanacos, ñandus, foxes, condors, and occasionally pumas. On the culinary side, the kitchen draws on fish from the South Pacific fjords, southern king crab, locally reared lamb, and freshly harvested vegetables and native berries, presented in creative, refined dishes that reflect the changing seasons.
