Innisfree House named after the famous Irish poem, ''The Lake Isle of Innisfree'' written by one of the most renowned poets of Irish literature, William Buter Yeats. The house is located right on the beach, it is the perfect sanctuary to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Imagine listening to the the waves crashing against the shore while you are having breakfast, it truly is a writer's paradise.
The house was bult in the 1700s and has been beautifully restored to the highest standard for comfort and luxury retaining it's antique nature featuring a collection of Irish art work which includes pieces painted by William B. Yeats, brother, the iconic Jack B. Yeats.
Accommodation
Innisfree House can accommodate up to two people with two luxurious bedrooms and two bathrooms including one stand alone bathtub. The house and it's furnishing have been specifically designed with the sea and gardens in mind.
The Master Bedroom includes a large en-suite bathroom. At 750sq foot this beautiful bedroom has a five start quality bed and mattress dressed with the most luxurious soft furnishings, there is witting desk and sumptuous velvet armchairs and a sofa to gaze on the Atlantic or the gardens, perfect for relaxing and unwinding while looking out at the sea!
The second bedroom called the writer's suite is an elegant double bedroom and also has a spacious ensuite bathroom.
On the ground floor you will find the drawing room, you will have picturesque views of the sea and an old fireplace blended with prestigious art work that the owner has hand picked. The perfect place to unwind with a glass of brandy while reading a good book! Or if you fancy watching your favorite tv program the house has an enormous television.
There is also a large open plan living room in the heart of Innisfree House. The dining table is the centre piece of the room fitted with a wood burning fireplace and delightful views of the gardens and the ocean on the other side. There is a look out spot at the window here truly you ''shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow.'' The room is furnished with tailor made soft furnishings. Innisfree House is the Ideal place to decompress.
There is also a state of the art kitchen with marble worktops including the latest mod cons, the kitchen has a nautical theme that imitates the titanic using timbers from the Harland and Wolffe shipyard.
There is even a writer's corner at the top of the stairs there is a fantastic view of the sea from the window overlooking the ocean with two winged armchairs sungly beside an inviting table.
The property has magnificent grounds featuring a newly restored garden and private access to the beautiful beach that is on your doorstep!
