Mariners Retreat is a coastal retreat, a lovingly restored, detached, Georgian style home nestled right in Dungarvan harbour. With uninterrupted sea views and relaxed and spacious interiors and gardens, It’s the perfect getaway for families or friends looking to unwind by the water.
Sea swimmers and water sports enthusiasts will love the award winning, blue flag Clonea Beach, a long and sandy safe stretch of water, known for its excellent water quality and lifeguard–patrolled swimming—which is just a few kms away and reachable by bike path from the house. Or launch your kayak or paddle board from the harbour slip only metres from the front door.
Tennis and golf enthusiasts are perfectly catered for – the Tennis Courts and Bowling Club are just a short 2-minute stroll from the house, while the renowned Dungarvan Golf Triangle offers two championship courses and a stunning links course, all within a few minutes’ drive.
From beach days and kayaking, to hikes at Mahon Falls and the Comeragh Mountains, exploring local castles, or playing a round of golf – there’s no shortage of outdoor adventures for families and groups to enjoy nearby.

The family home is a 2 storey period house with beautiful views of Dungarvan harbour. It is newly renovated, with underfloor heating and all modern conveniences whilst still retaining its original character and old worldly charm.
Downstairs - Spacious open-plan kitchen and living area filled with natural light. Featuring a dining area and a cozy reading nook. A guest WC, a fully equipped laundry room and a separate cosy sitting room with smart flatscreen tv. Property has high speed broadband.
From the kitchen, a traditional half-door opens onto a lovely terrace with seating area that enjoys great sunlight during the day – perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Upstairs - Spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and a private ensuite bathroom, complete with double vanity and a walk-in rainforest shower.
Bedroom 2 offers a king-size bed in a bright and comfortable double room – perfect for a restful night's sleep.
Bedroom 3 is a charming children’s bedroom featuring a standard single bed and a fun shorty kids bed set into a built-in nook – ideal for young travellers.
