Property overview
Kennedy Estate has a rich history: the estate was seized by Cromwell in 1641 and the house lay in ruin for half a century. Its meticulous renovation, only just completed, incorporated beautiful pieces with stories of their own: the marble and brass bar in the kitchen, for example, began life in the Alexander McQueen store on Bond Street.
The extensive grounds are peaceful and calming with ancient trees, tranquil walks, racehorses in the fields - and an immediate feeling of being away from it all.
The Wellness Courtyard has a light-filled yoga space and gym (with Technogym equipment, including a kinesis machine), sauna (fired by timber from the estate), outdoor rain shower and charming Victorian-era ice bath. It’s so beautiful you will be delighted to work out.
If your party includes golf lovers then Kennedy Estate is a dream come true. With a top-of-the-range Trackman Studio and flood-lit practice green (with chipping areas, putting green and sand bunkers) our facilities are world-class, and exclusively yours. Play one of Ireland’s top golf courses during the day (LaHinch, Doonbeg, Adare, Dromoland, Mount Juliet and the K Club are all within 90 mins drive or a short heli hop) and enjoy the Trackman and practice green in the evenings.
Kennedy Estate has the facilities and quality of a 5-star hotel but with total privacy. Despite its scale and grandeur, it feels warm and embracing - like staying at the home of a good friend.
Accommodation
The house sleeps 11 adults (and up to 8 children) in 6 spacious suites. The family suite has two inter-connected bedrooms. Doubles all have Emperor or Super-King beds. Each suite has a seating area and views over the estate (and a coffee machine for lazy mornings).
Separate cottages are available on the estate if you are travelling with your own staff.

Tipperary is a beautiful, authentic part of Ireland where traditional music is still played in cozy pubs and Gaelic sports thrive. Local walks showcase Ireland’s natural landscapes (from wild, rugged ridge walks to lakes and waterfalls). The M7 (one of Ireland’s main motorways) is less than 5 mins from the estate, so the whole island is easy to access – and Shannon airport (with routes to the US and Europe) is only 45 mins away.
