Day 1

Abbey Road

You will be met in the arrivals hall of the airport by your chauffeur where you will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your centrally located London hotel.

Start your journey heading to North West London to visit the world famous Abbey Road. You will see from the outside the studios where the Beatles recorded most of their albums, and where countless artists and bands including Adele, Kanye West, Foo Fighters and Duran Duran have since frequented. Just outside the studio is the pedestrian crossing made famous by The Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover where you can recreate your own ‘crossing the road like the Beatles’ album pose.

Day 2

Explore London

Meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel. Together, you will explore the Royal side of the English capital. Start at the birthplace of many Royal and walk in their footsteps. Head to Kensington Palace, where many royals have lived, from Prince Diana to Prince William. Next, you will move to Westminster Abbey, the church where Kings and Queens are crowned and Royals get married. your private guide will show the house that doubled as Buckingham Palace in films and TV shows. You will end your tour with a visit to Buckingham Palace to admire the imperial exteriors. Your guide will take you around London using the locals preferred mode of transportation, the underground.

Day 3

The Beatles in London

Liverpool gave birth to The Beatles, but between 1960 and 1962 they travelled back and forth between their beloved home city and Hamburg in Germany as they honed their talent and performed. After meeting Brian Epstein and enjoying tremendous success at Liverpool’s world famous Cavern Club, they made their way to London. The rest is history! Discover where The Beatles lived, worked and played in London. This tour will bring to life their experiences as they developed into the megastars of the 1960s. Whether you are a huge Beatles fan, or simply love 1960s popular culture, this is for you! You will visit such places as Mayfair, Marylebone, Soho and St. John’s Wood.

Day 4

Head to the Countryside

You’ll be whisked away from the hustle and bustle of city life and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the English countryside and offer you a truly memorable unique day. This tour focuses on having an authentic experience of life in the British countryside. Your day will be full of unique moments including three of the most unique country skills. You will learn from one of the world’s best shepherds and learn the skill of sheep dog herding. First of all you’ll have tea and cake in his cottage before heading out to the fields. You’ll watch how the dogs are trained and the progressions from puppies to international winning dogs. You’ll stop for a traditional pub lunch before a busy afternoon. On a family farm you will have the chance to handle and fly a variety of Hawks and Owls. Whilst feeding the birds you will learn the training and history of Falconry. Lastly you will have a private tour and explore a 16th century private manor house and finish with an old English tradition of tea and scones in the Earl’s home. Continue onto the wonderful Foxhill Manor to relax for the evening.

Day 5

Cotswolds Flavours and Traditions

You will be met by a private driver in the lobby of your hotel this morning and head to a local organic dairy farm in the Cotswold countryside. Milk has been produced at the Farm for centuries – you’ll get the chance to meet the ’girls’ who work hard every day to provide rich milk for the cheese. Every morning the milk travels just five metres from the milking shed to the Creamery, where the expert cheesemakers turn it into a delicious range of artisan products such as Cotswold Brie and Single Gloucester. You will be led through the process and understand how these beautiful cheeses are made; before sampling their award winning products. Following this you will head off to the quintessential villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter and take in these famous Cotswold sites before a relaxing country pub lunch. The afternoon will be a mix of sightseeing and then a visit to a local brewery that has been in operation since 1865. Today, the beer is still brewed the same way as 150 years ago and the owner will explain the unique process they have here in the Cotswolds. After the tour and visit of the brewery you will have a chance to try a few of their best ales in the cellar and then walk the stunning property with it’s own private river that supplies the water for the beer. To finish the day you’ll take in a Cotswold afternoon tea at Buckland Manor or Lords of the Manor. In the evening you will venture into the city of Liverpool where you will spend the next few days.

Day 6

Liverpool

Today, you will get an insight into the history of Liverpool, how the City has developed over the years and will also get a good signpost for places that you may want to see in your own time. The tour will enable you to see the City’s major landmarks, including the two Cathedrals, Town Hall, Pier Head, Albert Dock and the Museum and Galleries. An internal visit to one of the Cathedrals and a trip to Penny Lane, as well as Strawberry Field and Woolton Village, arguably the most important place in rock and roll history, where John Lennon and Paul McCartney met for the first time. Perhaps take a show in at the famous Cavern Club that evening, the favoured venue for the Beatles in Liverpool.

Day 7

Liverpool

There are so many things to see and do in Liverpool to celebrate The Beatles you might want to head back into the city another day to explore a bit more.

Option today to visit the Liverpool Beatles, Museum, wander in the Baltic Market, stop for a drink at the Yellow Submarine or why not, enjoy some shopping in the city.

Departure Day. You will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to the airport in time to catch your flight home.
