The lodge is literally a stone’s throw from the pebbly beach, and a short walk through the garden finds a small sandy cove which is safe for swimming. Each of the rooms have exceptional views and all have been finished to exacting standards, with high ceilings, wooden floors, modern bathrooms and under floor heating. From the kitchen, dining room and living room, large panoramic windows open out to the sea, providing uninterrupted views across the wild and untamed Atlantic.
There are 2 double bedrooms, one twin, and all are en-suite.

Clifden town, bustling with pubs and restaurants is just 10 minutes’ drive away on a typically Irish narrow road but there is an excellent taxi service available for night owls. Clifden enjoys an authentic social scene with quality restaurants and quaint pubs where traditional Irish music sessions add to a lively atmosphere. The surrounding Connemara landscape is unparalleled in beauty with stunning white sandy beaches and vast empty landscapes of mountain and ocean. Lodge of Connemara is available all year round. During the high season the house has a minimum stay of one week (Saturday to Saturday), otherwise minimum stay is 2 nights.
