Property overview
Many people are aware of Glenapp as a beautiful Relais & Chateaux hotel with exquisite gardens, cuisine, furniture art, and of course the sense of privacy for the most discerning of guests. Fewer people would be aware of the amazing trading history of the owners of Glenapp going back almost 150 years.
Many describe Glenapp as being a place, not only of great beauty but, of inspiration; a place where creativity seems to flow and often strategic decisions are made.
There are over 70 different and unique activities and experiences on offer, the complimentary experiences include tennis, croquet, French boules, quoits and the use of e-bikes.
The most well-known activities are whisky distillery visits, whisky tastings, falconry,
archery, hunting, fishing, shooting or bagpipes, among others.
Accommodation
The combination of forest, seascape, and the protection of this baronial castle all lend themselves to create an atmosphere for planning, reflection, and reconnecting.
The castle itself can accommodate up to 42 guests in 21 beautifully appointed rooms. We also can accommodate up to a further 36 guests in 5 star local cottages along the Stinchar River and on the harbour's edge with complimentary transfers to and from the castle.

Location
Ayrshire is synonymous with golf and Robert Burns – and there's plenty on offer here to satisfy both of these pursuits. Troon and Turnberry have world-famous courses, and there's enough Burns memorabilia in the region to satisfy even his most fanatical admirers. The best way to appreciate the Ayrshire coastline is on foot: the Ayrshire Coastal Path offers 100 miles of spectacular waterside walking.
