At Mariebelle Lake House, both living spaces are designed to bring people together - in a cosy corner, beside the fire, or simply in quiet appreciation of the view. Each wing offers its own atmosphere, its own pace, yet both are united by generous light, soft textures, and the ever-present water beyond the glass.
The garden at Mariebelle Lake House unfolds gently from the house to the water’s edge. To the rear a winding driveway brings you through tall pines, rhododendrons in soft colour along stone terraces. At the foot of the garden, a private jetty reaches out into the stillness of the lake.
Step outside and you’re on terraced lawns, surrounded by flowering borders, and sloping woodland, leading gently down to the shore of the lake. The private jetty waits at the water’s edge, for a morning swim or a quiet hour watching the light shift across the surface. A winding drive curves through tall pines.
Accommodation
Mariebelle Lake House sleeps up to twelve guests in six well-appointed bedrooms, arranged across two connected wings - The Oak Side and The Birch Side. The layout allows for both togetherness and privacy, making it ideal for families, couples, and multi-generational groups.
The bedrooms are intentionally placed away from the main social spaces. While the living areas and kitchens face the lake, most bedrooms are set to the rear or side, offering quiet and calm - especially welcome after a day on the water or in the hills.
