Sample itinerary
LABA Mama Simba, Arusha (2 nights)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our VIP Meet & Greet representatives and assisted through customs and immigration. Thereafter you will be met by your driver and transferred to LABA Mama Simba.
Opened in 2025, LABA Mama Simba is ideal for international arrivals at Kilimanjaro Airport. Guests can enjoy walking safaris, horseback riding, and a variety of optional excursions in the surrounding area.
From Kilimanjaro International Airport, the lodge is 35 minutes by car.
LABA Migration Camp, Serengeti (2 nights)
Experience one of the most luxurious migration camps in the Serengeti, which relocates three times a year to follow the migration:
-
South: Near Ndutu Airstrip
-
West/Central: Grumeti/Seronera
-
North: Near Kogatende Airstrip
Transfers: Guests can fly from Arusha to the relevant Serengeti airstrip (light aircraft, approx. 1–2 hours) or opt for a scenic 4×4 drive via Serengeti roads.
Besides wildebeest, the park hosts the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and African buffalo—along with hyenas, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and many birds. This wildlife abundance supports a local ecotourism economy, carefully managed through conservation policies and tourism taxation.
LABA Grumeti Art Lodge, Serengeti (2 nights)
Transfer by 4×4 safari vehicle (approx. 30–60 minutes) within the Serengeti ecosystem, enjoying game viewing en route, to LABA Grumeti Art Lodge.
Opened in 2025, LABA Grumeti Art Lodge blends safari and culture in a secluded hilltop setting. The lodge showcases a curated collection of contemporary African art, creating a distinctive atmosphere where design, nature, and wildlife come together.
LABA Jongomero, Ruaha National Park (Southern Tanzania) / Private Bush Manor (1 night)
After breakfast, transfer to the nearest airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Ruaha National Park (approx. 2–3 hours).
On landing, a short 4×4 transfer brings guests to LABA Jongomero.
Set along a river in the remote Ruaha National Park, LABA Jongomero offers a true off-the-beaten-track safari experience. Wildlife gathers around the camp, and guests can unwind at the lodge’s exclusive natural hot spring spa overlooking the river.
You can also opt for the Bush Manor experience, featuring up to 4 tents, a private chef, a butler, and a private pool.
There aren’t many truly wild places like this left in the world. Ruaha boasts a thriving and pristine ecosystem.
LABA Siwandu, Nyerere National Park in Southern Tanzania (1 night)
You will have a 40 minutes flight from Dar es Salaam and 1 hour 10 minutes from Jongomero.
Located beside Nzerakera Lake, LABA Siwandu is renowned for its water-based safaris. Guests explore the park by boat aboard a private pontoon, complemented by personalized service from a private guide and chef.
Nyerere is one of the few places in Tanzania offering the unique combination of traditional land safaris and water-based safaris. On a boat safari, you’re likely to see a wide variety of wildlife coming to the water to drink, providing a rare and immersive perspective as if observing the animals from within their natural environment.
LABA Fanjove (3 nights)
Light aircraft flight to the coastal region or Mafia Island (approx. 1.5–2 hours), followed by a short boat or charter flight transfer to Fanjove Island.
A barefoot-luxury island retreat in the remote Songo Songo archipelago, LABA Fanjove offers complete privacy and a pristine marine environment. With an extensive house reef accessible only to guests, it is the perfect conclusion to a safari journey.
