Journey to the remote wildlife area of Mana Pools National Park, with Nick Dyer, on the adventure of a lifetime. Nick Dyer is an award-winning photographer and author of the coffee table book ‘Painted Wolves, A Wild Dog’s Life’. Starting in Harare, we’ll take you on a 6-night safari that combines pristine national parks, knowledgable and passionate safari guides, and a lifetime of memories waiting to be made.
Set on the edge of the Zambezi River is the tranquil and simplistic Zambezi Expeditions. The focus here is the experience of being close to nature, from the morning grumbles of the hippo to the night calls of the hyena you are truly immersed in all that Mana Pools has to offer. A pack of wild dogs frequents the area. Accompanied by Nick Dyer, learn about the pack history and dynamics, experience the magic of this species first hand.
Kanga Camp is set on private concession away from the Zambezi shoreline. The Kanga pan is the only source of water in the area during the dry winter months, attracting the animals right to camps edge. During your stay at Kanga Camp experience the thrill of adventure when you go out on foot on a walking safari. Learn first hand the excitement of tracking the wild dogs, especially if you are lucky enough to see the pups who are ready to leave the dens.
