The estate is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin offering the perfect balance of escapism while still being close to the City Centre. The property dates back from the 1800s and served as the home of John Bentley. The prestigious masterpiece was designed by Edward Henry Carson who is the father of Sir Edward Carson, leader of the Irish Unionist Party an important figure in Irish History.
The property has kept it's period character while introducing modern features and the property's main focus is built around nature and tranquility. Guests can take in stunning views of the grounds while having a cup of coffee in the Victorian breakfast table.
The property has a ''home away from home'' feel and there is something for everyone at Sionnach House that is what makes it so special! The house is also 100% committed to sustainability and eco living.
Accommodation
Sionnach House has kept the character of the house while providing guests with modern amenities in a relaxed setting. The property sleeps twelves guests in the Main House with six double en-suite bedrooms with two rooms offering optional twin beds.
There is an additional Private Wooden Cabin on the grounds which features a kitchenette with a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a quaint living area. Perfect for couples that would like some privacy or families.
Living and Event Spaces:
When guests first enter the house they will be blown away by the Victorian reception area and grand piano. There is a drawing room with an original fireplace.
Guests will be able to experience the Victorian dining room while using the modern kitchen with all the latest modcons. There is a conservatory room looking over the private putting green.
On the first floor there is a library room that is attached to the billiard room and bar area, where guests can have a refreshing beverage after using the putting green. There is a presentation room and two offices ideal for guests who work remotely.
Amenities & Entertainment:
There is a comfortable private cinema room ideal for movie nights or when the Irish weather is acting up!

Grounds:
There is a Private wooden cabin directly outside the main house, it is perfect for families or couples who want some privacy.
There is Wellness centre and yoga studio that guests can avail of.
Treehouse and playground which is ideal for families with small children. There are two types of gardens, a walled garden with an oriental garden with colourful plants. There is also a polytunnel and vegetable patch which is perfect for guests who like gardening. Plenty of woodland and forest paths for guests to explore.
There is an outdoor firepit area and covered outdoor dining space.

Sionnach House is located in County Dublin. It is an affluent area, hidden away from the hustle bustle of the city while still being only 30 minutes drive from the city centre. The house has accessible transportation links also via bus and tram. Guests can visit the famous Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall in Co Wicklow which is only a 20 minute drive from the house.
