This tour will take you through Ireland’s midlands, the stunning southwest and the rugged northwest. This is a golfing experience like no other.

Day 1

Arrival

Welcome to Ireland! You will be met in the arrivals hall of the airport by your private chauffer. You will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to the Kilkea Castle Resort. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, relaxing and acclimatizing to your surroundings.

Day 2

Kilkea Castle Golf

Following your breakfast its time to tee it up at Kilkea Castle Golf Course, a traitional Irish parkland golf course. In the afternoon you will be met by your driver-guide, who will be with you for the rest of the trip. You will head to the Irish National Stud & Gardens for a private tour of these stunning grounds. Enjoy the evening at your leisure back in Kilkea Castle.

Day 3

Kilkenny, the Medieval city

Meet your driver-guide in the lobby of the hotel this morning as you head south. First into County Kilkenny where you will visit a local glass blowing studio for a truly special experience. Enjoy an exclusive private glassblowing lesson with the Director of the Glass Studio. This bespoke experience allows you to learn some of the techniques and skills of glassblowing with one-to-one tuition from the Master Glassblower. Taking some time with your personal guide in the storyboard display area, visitors handle the tools, learn about glassblowing and the Jerpoint Glass story. Next, there is a private viewing and demonstration with two Master Glassmakers. Guests witness a piece of Jerpoint Glass being created just for them, from the flowing red-hot glass to a beautiful and totally unique one-off piece; theirs to keep as a reminder of this special day. Following the demonstration, each guest attempts to master the craft! First, with a friendly competition to see who can blow the biggest bubble. Then, on to design and create a treasured piece together, under the careful guidance of the Jerpoint Glass crafts person. Following this continue your journey south to the town of Kinsale, known as the gourmet capital of Ireland. Enjoy a private food tour of Kinsale with your local guide showcasing the best cuisine the town has to offer. You will spend the evening in the Suites at Old Head Golf Links, each of its rooms as expansive views over the clifftops.

Day 4

Old Head Golf

Enjoy a round of golf today on, perhaps, Ireland’s most dramatic golf course, Old Head. With half of the golf holes carved into the clifftop your focus gets drawn to the unrivalled views in front of you. Following your round of golf the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 5

The Secret Ireland

A break from golf today and a special experience awaits you. Meet your driver-guide in the lobby this morning and journey to the town of Killaloe. While in Killaloe, enjoy a “Secret Ireland excursion.” You will travel through time and see how Ireland has evolved. Experiences range from “medieval” to “traditional” to “modern.” While the day calls for interactions with locals, it truly captures a glimpse into Ireland’s culture and history throughout the years. Onto the glorious Adare Manor in the evening, where you will spend the next few nights.

Day 6

Lahinch Golf

Meet your driver in the lobby of the hotel this morning. The Old Course at Lahinch awaits for your first round of golf of the trip. With the golf course running in and out of the town, comparisons can be drawn to the world famous Old Course of St. Andrews. Following this the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure exploring County Clare with your driver-guide, perhaps make your way to the Cliffs of Moher, a sheer precipice, soaring some 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and running for 8km’s along Ireland’s west coast. Should time allow it be sure to make your way to the Burren. Sitting just north of the Cliffs of Moher, an eerie lunar-like setting awaits you, with this area famous for its rock formations and wildlife – it is a great place to enjoy a hike. Enjoy the evening at your leisure back at Adare Manor.

Day 7

Ballybunion Old Course

This morning you will head to the “Grandfather!” of Irish golf, Ballybunion Old Course. Famous for being Tom Watson’s favourite golf course in the world, they say after playing the Old Course at Ballybunion you understand the blueprint that some of the world’s best golf holes were based off. Make your way back to Adare in the afternoon where you will have the rest of the day at your leisure to perhaps enjoy some of the activities on offer at Adare Manor.

Day 8

Connemara

Time to leave Adare Manor and the village of Adare behind, as you venture north along the West of Ireland to County Mayo, and the incredible Ashford Castle. The day is yours to enjoy as you please. Perhaps you will want to enjoy Ashford Castle for the day and everything it has to offer or perhaps you will choose the explore the stunning area of Connemara with your driver-guide. Time to leave Adare Manor and the village of Adare behind, as you venture north along the West of Ireland to County Mayo, and the incredible Ashford Castle. The day is yours to enjoy as you please. Perhaps you will want to enjoy Ashford Castle for the day and everything it has to offer or perhaps you will choose the explore the stunning area of Connemara with your driver-guide.

Carne Golf

Have today to challenge yourselves with a round of golf at Carne Golf Links.

Enniscorne Golf

On this day, you will enjoy a round of golf at Enniscorne Golf Club

Departure
