Khwai Bush Camp, on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, is nestled amongst a forest of sycamore and leadwood trees. A perfect welcome to the green season with dramatic afternoon thunderstorms which are expected to provide much needed relief to wildlife and vegetation. Migrant birds arrive in their flocks and predator hunts are common as vulnerable offspring are born. Experience the vastness of the landscape beyond with a helicopter transfer to the Nxai Pan.

Migrations Expeditions, a semi-mobile seasonal camp has just six tents set on low decks enjoying the expanse of the Nxai pan area and the perfect spot to enjoy the zebra migration as tens of thousands of zebra arrive with the promise of new vegetation. With the new rains, many of the roads become inaccessible but the water wonderland that is experienced from the air is phenomenal. Waves of vibrant pink flamingos return to the drenched pan. Day trips to the 1,000-year-old cluster of trees known as Baines Baobabs form part of the exciting activities on offer.
