For the thrill seeking traveller, you can also take a speedboat ride that will bring you right under the falls.

The Pantanal
The Pantanal is an immense tropical wetlands located mainly in western Brazil's Mato Grosso do Sul state. Renowned for its wildlife, it's home to hundreds of species of birds, along with fauna like jaguars, caimans and capybaras. Summer rains flood the region, while the winter dry season creates plentiful lagoons.
Arrive at your eco-lodge, your comfortable base for two nights, from which you can explore the wonders of the Pantanal region. Here wildlife abounds in an astounding biodiversity that offers an incredible array of mammals, birds and reptiles, including the world’s largest members of the parrot family, the rare and beautiful Hyacinth Macaw. Useful Info

Because Brazil is in the Southern Hemisphere, its seasons are the opposite of that of the Northern hemisphere. July to September are good months to visit the Amazon or Pantanal. April through October, the weather is warm and dry along the coast, though it can be chilly in the south. If you’re looking to escape the cold months of the Northern hemisphere , Brazil is a great escape.
